Twenty one years ago today (June 5, 1989), a lone man stood in front of tanks rolling into Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China.
This fifth and never-before-published photo of “Tank Man” was revealed last year in the New York Times. The photo was taken on the ground by Terril Jones and in his photo you can see “Tank Man” standing at far left in the distance as the tanks come barreling down toward him.
